I am delighted to be writing this as the first message of the new school year! It has been such a difficult few months for all of us and so it is with real pleasure that I welcome everyone back to this new year. I hope that you have all been keeping safe and taking care of yourselves during these difficult times. A word I have been hearing a lot over the last week has been “normality” - lots of people talking about how nice it is to have a return to normality!
While I am not sure we are back at “normal” times just yet, I am certainly delighted that these first few days have gone as they have. Life will still be strange for us all as we get to grips with school in a pandemic. We have a number of new systems in place that will take us all a bit of time to get used to. I appreciate everyone’s patience while we try and get to grips with everything. I know that there will be ups and downs this year but I also know that, if we work together, we will have a successful year!
As ever, thank you for your support.
