Welcome to St James'

Executive I first arrived here at St. James' in September 2008, joining the school as the Assistant Headteacher and the Y6 class teacher. Since that time I feel that I have witnessed first hand the commitment that this school has to developing staff and supporting people to achieve the very best that they can.

I became the Headteacher in January 2012 and that has allowed me to take a leading role in ensuring that the staff who come to work at St. James' feel they have what they need in order to provide our children with the best education possible.

Teaching is a very demanding role and you can never predict the sorts of challenges that you will face. Every day at St. James' we all work hard to ensure that we face those challenges together and I am very proud of the community spirit and support that flows throughout the school. I want people who spend their days at St. James' to know that they are valued, that their work is important and that they will have the opportunity to grow, develop and thrive just as much as our children.

I feel very lucky to work at St. James' and feel blessed to spend my days alongside a wonderful staff group.  All our vacancies will be advertised on  Manchester City Council's website and our website.
