Unfortunately out half term for Forest School has ended however, we have lots of exciting things upcoming. Class Notices
Reading books-
Your child will be given/select a reading book every week. This book is to be taken home each night and MUST be brought into school each day.
Please try to read this book with your child as every day and record that you have done so in their reading record book. You should record the date, name of the books and the pages read. Additionally to this, please sign your name and leave a comment if you are able to.
Homework-
Class homework is given out (weekly) on a Friday. Homework must be handed in by WEDNESDAY each week. Homework will typically be Maths* and English (spelling) focus however, at the end of each term your child will receive a learning challenge to complete over the holidays. This challenge will allow your child to get more creative and will be focused on one of the topics we are covering in school that term. We expect all children to complete their homework each week.

Forest School is no longer running for Year 3.
PE Uniform-
Your child's PE day is: Monday
This term St James is trailing a different layout to out PE timetable. Due tot these changes each class has 1 afternoon dedicated to PE per week. ONLY ON MONDAY should your child come into school wearing their PE uniform. Details regarding St James PE uniform can be found on the letter attached below.
