Welcome to Spring 2, this half term is only short but we have so much to fit in. Remember at the end of the half term you will be having your Viking Day. Also, some of you will be off on our KS2 residential to Ghyll Head. For those of you staying in school, you will be having a special theme week with Year 6.
Our English books for this half term represent the past and the future. We will begin with 'Arthur and the Golden Rope' that links to our history topic and Norse Mythology. We will also be reading 'Welcome to the Future' and we will explore what the future might look like and what futuristic technology might alter our way of lives. Well done to all of you for achieving your bronze dojo badge. Your next challenge this half term is to achieve your Silver Dojo badge by achieving 500 dojos. As always, remember to read every evening and ask an adult at home to sign your reading record. Take care, Mrs H-D, Mr Smith & Mr Tomson Please email any queries to: ClassFive@st-james-rusholme.manchester.sch.uk |
