Reading at home
Please ensure you are reading for at least 15 minutes a day. Make sure your Collins ebook is being read with an adult at least 5 times a week. Also, every time your reading record is signed, you will receive a raffle ticket with the chance to receive a book related prize every half term. Happy reading!

In English we will be looking at the text The Three Little Pigs. The children will write letters to the Three Little Pigs, form the perspective of the Big Bad Wolf. They will explore the features of a letter and how they can extends their sentences, use questions within their writing (using question marks). We will also study the book Leaf, by Sandra Dieckman. Pupils will focus on setting and character description. They will endeavor to use interesting adjectives, developing their vocabulary. In Maths we will be looking at: -addition and subtraction (to 20) -length and height -place value (to 50) |
