As some of you will know, our very own Emmie (Year 6) and her family run an award winning hospital meals charity to help parents caring for their children in hospital. During the lockdown period, Emmie's Kitchen has been doing even more to support families in hospital through the pandemic and are starting to provide a weekly take away for parents who have even more limited access to food at this time. Homemade Face Masks
From Emmie's mum: Myself and Emmie have made and distributed 30O masks over the last 6 weeks. Raising nearly £1000 for Emmie’s kitchen. Emmie has been cutting masks, pairing them, sewing and packaging- which has really supported her learning around maths, art and business studies.
