In English we will be looking at letter writing. Pupils will focus on the book 'It fell from the sky' by Terry Fan. Pupils will write a letter of invitation to invite the other bugs to their own exhibition, imagining their own 'wonder from the sky' (as seen in the book). Pupils will learn about the key features of a letters, as well as aiming to understand the various reasons that you may write a letter. We also aim to have opportunity for pupils to understand how a letter can be posted and may travel (using the postal service). If we have time, we may even go and post a class letter of our own and follow it's journey to the recipient! In Maths we will be looking at: -Numbers to 50 -Mass and volume -Multiplication and division |
