Class Notices
Reading books-
Your child will be given/select a reading book every week. This book is to be taken home each night and MUST be brought into school each day.
Please try to read this book with your child as every day and record that you have done so in their reading record book. You should record the date, name of the books and the pages read. Additionally to this, please sign your name and leave a comment if you are able to.
Homework-
Class homework is given out (weekly) on a Friday. Homework must be handed in by WEDNESDAY each week. Homework will typically be Maths and English (spelling) focus however, at the end of each term your child will receive a learning challenge to complete over the holidays. This challenge will allow your child to get more creative and will be focused on one of the topics we are covering in school that term. We expect all children to complete their homework each week.
PE Uniform-
Your child's PE day is: Tuesday
Children will no longer be coming to school wearing their PE uniform, instead we will be going back to the children bringing their kit in a bag, to get changed in school. Please bring your child's PE kit in a secure bag (i.e a drawstring bag/ bag with a zip or button) and ensure your child's name is clearly written on the outside of the bag.
