School Admissions at St James'

Applications for a place at St James' are processed through Manchester City Council. If you would like make an in-year application for a school place (that is, applications for places in the middle of a school year, or to start in the September of a year which is not the normal point of entry) you can do so here.

If you would like to provide a faith reference with your application this should be submitted directly to the school. Please contact the school office for more information.

Faith Reference

If you attend a place of worship regularly, whether it is C of E church, other church or place of worship for other faith, you can add Faith Reference Form to your child's application. Reverse side (Side B) needs to be filled in by someone in the office of the place of worship and verified with a stamp.
Please note the following, as in the definition section of Admissions Policy, 
  1. Regular attendance means a minimum of monthly attendance at Church/Synagogue/Mosque at public worship for at least the year prior to 1st September in the year before admission to the school. Churches in membership of Churches Together in Britain and Ireland can be viewed at www.ctbi.org.uk and members of the Inter Faith Network can be viewed at www.interfaith.org.uk
