Welcome to Summer Term! We hope you had a lovely holiday. On this page is some information about what we will be studying as well as information for parents. This half term we are lucky enough to have Miss Cyrek with us who will be teaching us lots of fun lessons!

- Thursday 24th April and Thursday 1st May - cricket lessons (please make sure children have their PE kits)
- Tuesday 29th April - RE trip to Holy Innocents Church
- Monday 5th May - Early Spring Bank Holiday
- W.b Monday 19th May - End of KS1 SATs (please see below for further information)
- Friday 23rd May - Finish for half term

Information for Parents
PE Kits
We will be doing PE every Tuesday afternoon. Please make sure children have a named bag in school every Tuesday. PE kits should stay in school for the whole half term and will be sent home at the end of each half term
Reading Books
Reading books will be changed every Wednesday. Children will get a book of their choice in their book bags, along with an eBook to read. Reading books should be brought into school each day as we could read with the children at any time. eBooks will be changed on a Tuesday and the previous week's book will remain online alongside their new eBook.
Homework
Homework will be given out on a Friday in their orange homework books and is to be returned on a Tuesday. There will be Maths and English homework sheet each week.

SATs Information
SATs assessments will be completed the week beginning Monday 19th May 2025.
These assessments are carried out in an informal way so your child is under as little pressure as possible. They are put together with their work over the year to assess where they are at the end of KS1.
During SATs week, they will complete two Maths papers (arithmetic and reasoning) and two English reading papers.
Please see below for a Parent Information pack and past papers. Please do not hesitate to ask me any questions regarding SATs.
