Year 2

Welcome to Spring 1, we hope you had a lovely holiday. On this page is some information about what we will be studying as well as information for parents.

Our teachers are:

Mr Low (Year 2 Teacher - PPA Cover on Tuesday mornings)

What's happening this half term?

Friday 10th January - Miss Cox's (Trainee Teacher) last day
Friday 28th March - Year 2 class assembly (more information to follow)
Every Thursday we will have a cricket lesson with a cricket coach (please make sure children have their PE kits on a Tuesday AND Thursday).
As well as a trip to the library and Synagogue - dates and details to follow.

Please continue to read every evening, sign reading records and to bring your book bag in every day.

Year 2 Gallery!

Information for Parents

PE Kits
We will be doing indoor PE every Tuesday afternoon AND outdoor PE every Thursday morning. Please make sure children have a named bag in school every Tuesday and Thursday. PE kits should stay in school for the whole half term and will be sent home at the end of each half term

Reading Books
Reading books will be changed every Wednesday. Children will get a book of their choice in their book bags, along with an eBook to read. Reading books should be brought into school each day as we could read with the children at any time. eBooks will be changed on a Tuesday and the previous week's book will remain online alongside their new eBook.

Homework
Homework will be given out on a Friday in their orange homework books and is to be returned on a Tuesday. There will be Maths and English homework sheet each week.
