Sports Premium at St. James'

The PE and sport premium is designed to help primary schools improve the quality of the PE and sport activities they offer their pupils.

Most schools with primary-age pupils receive the PE and sport premium in the academic year 2022 to 2023, including:
  • maintained schools
  • academies and free schools
  • special schools
  • non-maintained special schools
  • city technology colleges (CTCs)
  • pupil referral units (PRUs)
  • general hospitals
Schools with 17 or more eligible pupils receive £16,000 and an additional payment of £10 per pupil.
