Welcome to Summer 1. This half term we will be going on our river study trip to Crowdon in Longdendale. The trip will take place on Thursday 25th April.
Our English books for this half term will inspire our imagination. We will begin with 'Werewolf Club Rules', which is a collection of poems by the poet Joseph Coelho. We will also be reading 'Escape Room', which will be used as inspiration for an explanation and instructional text. Well done to all of you that have already achieved your Silver Dojo, the rest of you are nearly there. Your next challenge this half term is to achieve your Gold Dojo badge by achieving 750 dojos. As always, remember to read every evening and ask an adult at home to sign your reading record. Take care, Mrs H-D, Mr Smith & Mr Tomson Please email any queries to: ClassFive@st-james-rusholme.manchester.sch.uk |
